I have the original version of the Apple iPhone 8GB and as badass of a phone that it is, there are several things that I hate about it. Mainly because of the hype of anything that comes out from Apple, the company can come out with a vastly inferior product (sorry Jamie’s husband, Duncan) than everyone else and yet still be the number one seller and the first name people identify when they see a similar product. Confused? Look at the iPod. Yeah, it’s a pretty cool MP3 player, but there are a ton of other ones out there that are better. We Asians are way too quiet. I can’t speak for the entire Asian or Chinese population, but I know what I think and that counts for at least one vote. Growing up, my parents have always been low key. If something bad happens, they don’t want to make a big fuss and bring more attention to us. I was always told to be quiet and not speak up if I wasn’t happy about something. And most importantly, don’t do anything to embarrass the family. I think that’s one of the reasons why I’m really shy and not very outgoing. I’ve heard the same thing from a lot of my Asian friends regarding this as well. Read the rest of this entry »
